Summer on the Waterfront
Summer on the Waterfront is an initiative of The Boston Harbor Association (TBHA) and Level Up to celebrate the tremendous renaissance of the Boston Waterfront.
In partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Children’s Museum, New England Aquarium, USS Constitution Museum, Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston Harbor Island Alliance and Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, TBHA and Level Up are promoting the area from the Charlestown Navy Yard through the South Boston waterfront during the summer of 2012.
Wonderful things all along the waterfront are planned throughout the summer, with the War of 1812 bicentennial, the opening of the Tea Party Museum, Harbor Fest and the Flash Forward Festival, featuring a free public art exhibition at the Fairmont Battery Wharf, there is something for everyone. Starting June 1, go to SummerOnTheWaterfront.org for a Boston waterfront toolkit, including a summertime calendar of events, participating area merchants, and a free, interactive self-guided scavenger hunt of the waterfront.
